It’s a new month once again … and with a new month comes a new round of transfer bonuses to take advantage of.

Today, we’ll dive into all of this month’s newest transfer bonuses for the top transferable rewards programs so you can get the absolute most out of your hard-earned points and miles.

Here’s everything you need to know!

New Transfer Bonuses for August 2024

Amex Membership Rewards to British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus

Through September 30, 2024, you’ll receive a 30% bonus when transferring Amex Membership Rewards points to British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.3.

The sweet spots when redeeming Avios include short-haul U.S. domestic flights, and booking Qatar Airways Qsuites on long-haul international flights for as low as 70,000 Avios each way! That means with this 30% bonus promotion you could be flying in one of the world’s best business class seats for just 54,000 Membership Rewards points!

Amex Membership Rewards to Hawaiian Airlines

Through August 31, 2024, you’ll receive a 20% bonus when transferring Amex Membership Rewards points to Hawaiian Airlines. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.2.

On the redemption side, Hawaiian Airlines is not a program that offers very much value to customers, and award tickets to Hawaii using the program are often more expensive than you’ll find with competing programs. Given that, this is likely a promotion to pass on.

Chase Ultimate Rewards to Marriott Bonvoy

Through August 14, 2024, you’ll receive a 70% bonus when transferring Chase Ultimate Rewards points to Marriott Bonvoy. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.7.

Generally speaking, this is a transfer bonus you likely want to avoid, as Chase points are worth far more than Marriott points unless you have an excellent redemption opportunity lined up.

Capital One Miles to Qantas Airways

Through September 1, 2024, you’ll receive a 20% bonus when transferring Capital One Miles to Qantas Frequent Flyer. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.2.

U.S.-based flyers might not be very familiar with the Qantas Frequent Flyer program, so here is a detailed look at the best ways to redeem Qantas points.

Citi ThankYou Rewards to Air France-KLM Flying Blue

Through August 17, 2024, you’ll receive a 25% bonus when transferring Citi ThankYou Rewards to Flying Blue. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.25.

A great way to double up on the value you can receive here is by using the transfer bonus to then book a flight that is currently discounted thanks to the monthly Air France-KLM Flying Blue promo awards.

Citi ThankYou Rewards to Wyndham Rewards

Through August 17, 2024, you’ll receive a 20% bonus when transferring Citi ThankYou Rewards to Wyndham Rewards. The elevated transfer rate is 1:1.2.

We value Citi ThankYou Points at 1.6 cents per point, and Wyndham points at 0.9 cents per point. Even with the 20% transfer bonus, it’s like swapping 1.6 cents per point for 1.08 cents per point in value.

That said, transferring your points during this promotion could make sense if you locate a high-value redemption that’s worth more than 1.6 cents per point.

Hot Tip: You can always keep track of all the latest airline and hotel transfer bonuses using our transfer partner tool calculator!

Final Thoughts

Earning transferable points is always a great idea since they’re so flexible when it comes time to book your trip. Also, transfer bonuses make transferable rewards even better because you’ll be able to use fewer points and get even more value out of your next award booking!

Remember that transfer bonuses are typically only around for a limited time, so if you’re interested in any of these offers, make sure you take advantage of them before the expiration date.
