For busy travelers, airport lounge access can make the difference between a relaxing journey and a stressful ordeal. Luckily, Aspire Lounge offers a respectable space for travelers and guests to relax and unwind.

Aspire Lounges enable you to avoid crowded airport terminals, grab a cocktail, savor a bite to eat, and access technology amenities like free Wi-Fi and charging outlets, as well as comfortable seating options.

While you can pay an entry fee to get a day pass into an Aspire Lounge (outlined in detail below), you can also get complimentary access for yourself and 2 guests if you have a Priority Pass, which is complimentary with several credit cards.

In this guide, we’ll show you the complete list of Aspire Lounge locations in the U.S. (spoiler alert: there aren’t many), as well as their operating hours, detailed location specifics, and more.

U.S. Aspire Lounge Locations

Ontario International Airport (ONT)

Aspire Lounge — Terminal 2

Location: Terminal 2, follow signs for gates 210 – 213
Hours: Daily from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. (closes at 12 a.m. on Wednesdays)
Guest Access: Open to travelers departing from Terminal 2; children under 2 years old are admitted free

Aspire Lounge — Terminal 4

Location: Terminal 4, follow signs for gates 411 – 413
Hours: Daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Guest Access: Open to travelers departing from Terminal 4; children under 2 years old are admitted free
Select Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, business facilities, charging facilities, complimentary hot food, snacks, treats, and soft drinks, runway views

The 2 Aspire Lounges inside Ontario International Airport (ONT), formerly Escape Lounges, are bright and comfortable and offer a great space for travelers to relax.

Both lounges offer views of the busy airfield and a view of the runway — an added perk for any AvGeeks!

Hot Tip: It’s worth noting that both of these lounges are waiting for a liquor license, so alcoholic drinks aren’t yet available.

San Diego International Airport (SAN)

Location: Between Terminal 2 East security and the bridge to Terminal 2 West, post-security, just past gate 33
Hours: Daily from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. (8-hour stay max)
Guest Access: Children under 2 years old are admitted free
Select Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, business facilities, charging facilities, shower facilities, complimentary snacks, treats, and soft drinks, full bar, runway views

The San Diego Aspire Lounge (formerly Airspace Lounge) is filled with armchair-style seating options, high ceilings, great views of the apron, and consistently friendly service.

You’ll find a large cocktail bar in the middle of the lounge with a full selection of drinks on display (note that charges apply for drinks).

There are power outlets at every seat, dedicated workstations with a printer and office chairs, a literature area with tabloids and multicultural newspapers, as well as numerous flat-screen TVs throughout the lounge. Wi-Fi is free and über-fast.

Perhaps most importantly, this lounge is the only one in San Diego International Airport with showers, which are located near the bathrooms near the lounge entrance.

Aspire Lounge Food and Drink Options

Complimentary items include soft drinks and light snacks, like bagels, yogurts, soups, salads, and more. There is freshly-brewed coffee, fountain drinks, and a selection of fruit, cookies, crudités, and trail mix. The San Diego location also offers unlimited complimentary espresso and cappuccino.

Hot food items like scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, teriyaki chicken skewers, and yakisoba noodles are available in the 2 Ontario International Airport locations.

Though alcoholic beverages aren’t included in the price of entry, they can be purchased for an extra fee for anywhere between $5 a beer to $12 for a signature cocktail.

How To Access Aspire Lounges

The Aspire Lounges offer complimentary access to those with a Priority Pass membership. Priority Pass membership comes with popular rewards cards such as The Platinum Card^® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card^® from American Express, Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card, and Chase Sapphire Reserve^®. You can also bring up to 2 guests along with you, complimentary.

Aspire Lounges are also open to members of Diners Club and DragonPass.

Eligible China Airlines passengers can access the Ontario Terminal 2 lounge on departure. Any eligible business class travelers flying on an American Airlines (or those with Admirals Club membership), British Airways, Japan Airlines, or Edelweiss ticket are also permitted entry into the San Diego lounge.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted, except for service animals.

Hot Tip: In addition to Aspire Lounges, Amex Platinum card and Amex Business Platinum cardholders can access more than 1,400 additional lounges globally, including Centurion Lounges, Delta Sky Clubs, Priority Pass lounges (upon enrollment), and much more, just by holding the card!

Pricing

If you don’t have complimentary access per the guidelines above, you can still pay for a day pass.

Usually, you’ll pay around $40 to $45 per person at the airport. Children under the age of 2 can access Aspire Lounges for free, but children 2 and older will be charged a slightly discounted rate.

There are over 30 Aspire Lounge locations worldwide operated by Executive Lounges by Swissport, and there’s a lot to love about the U.S. locations, even if the footprint only includes 3 lounges. That said, the Aspire Lounge in San Diego is noteworthy because it’s the only lounge at that airport offering showers.
