In this post, we outline a complete list of the Escape Lounge locations in the U.S., including detailed information on exact airport locations, hours, and general amenities.

In order to access an Escape Lounge, you’ll either need to pay the entry fee or have an eligible Amex credit card. Information on eligibility and pricing is listed at the bottom of the post.

Escape Lounge Food and Drink Options

Visitors of the Escape Lounge have access to both complimentary hot food and drinks, as well as premium à la carte options for an additional fee.

Chefs create daily menus, catering to all tastes at all times of the day. Enjoy breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner menus, as well as a range of healthy and delicious snacks. The bar is stocked with great wines, beers, liquors, and spirits, as well as a delicious range of non-alcoholic drinks and sodas. Each lounge has staff on hand to create fantastic cocktails and smoothies as well.

Escape Lounge Eligibility and Pricing

Eligibility

Entry to any Escape Lounge is complimentary for cardholders of The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card (when flying Delta), Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card (when flying Delta), and Centurion® Card from American Express. Cardholders for all cards but the Delta Reserve card and Delta Reserve Business card may also bring up to 2 guests inside the lounge with them for no additional charge.

Individuals must present a valid card and a boarding pass with a reservation for same-day travel on any carrier (with the exception of the Delta Reserve cards who must be flying Delta).

Hot Tip: You can access more than just Escape Lounges with an Amex Platinum card. Amex Platinum cardholders have access to over 1,400 other lounges, including the luxurious Centurion Lounges. Check to see if you’re eligible for a welcome offer of up to 150,000 points with the Amex Platinum card! (The current public offer is 80,000 points.) 

Most Escape Lounge locations started accepting Priority Pass in June 2024. These locations include:

Pricing

If you do not hold the Amex Platinum card, the Amex Business Platinum card, or the Centurion card, or have a Priority Pass membership, you can still gain access to an Escape Lounge, but you will have to pay to do so.

The fee to access an Escape Lounge is $45 per person if you pay at the airport, or $40 per person if book your visit in advance at the Escape Lounges website.

While there are only 15 Escape Lounges located in the U.S., there are a further 6 locations overseas and 3 more in the works worldwide. If you travel often, signing up for a credit card like the Amex Platinum card that gives you access to all of the Escape Lounges, plus over 1,400 other lounges worldwide, can provide you with huge value and travel benefits.

Are Escape Lounges open to Amex Platinum Cardholders?

Yes, cardholders of Amex Platinum card, Amex Business Platinum card, Delta Reserve card, Delta Reserve Business card, and Centurion card can access Escape Lounges for free. They may also bring up to 2 guests into the lounge with them at no additional charge (excluding Delta Reserve cardholders who pay $30 for additional guests).

What is the charge to enter an Escape Lounge?

If you do not hold either the Amex Platinum card, Amex Business Platinum card, Delta Reserve card, Delta Reserve Business card, or Centurion card, or have a Priority Pass membership the fee is $45 per person if you pay at the airport or $40 per person if book your visit in advance at the Escape Lounges website.

Are children permitted in an Escape Lounge?

Children are permitted to visit the lounge with their parent or guardian. Children older than 24 months will pay the standard entry price. Children aged 23 months and under enter the lounge free of charge. You must email or call the lounge in advance if you are bringing a child under 23 months old.
